Workplace Motivators™- Values and Motivators
Values: Hidden Motivators
A person's performance can be directly related to personal interests, attitudes and values. The Workplace Motivators report allows individuals to understand how their prioritized values affect choices and provide purpose and direction in their lives.
When combined with the advanced DISC behavioral assessment, the picture of the individual is complete - both HOW he or she will behave and WHY - the values and motivational drivers behind his or her actions.
Values are the drivers behind our behavior.
Abstract concepts in themselves, they are the principles by which we act. Identifying the values drives of indiviudals, teams and organziations reduces conflicts, increases talent retention, improves efficiency and productivity, and energizes any group working together toward common goals.
The instrument measures the relative weight one places on six value areas:
Theoretical - an interest in the discovery of knowledge and an appetite for learning
Utilitarian / Economic - a characteristic interest in money/utility and return on investment
Aesthetic - a relative interest in form, balance, and harmony
Social / Altruistic - an interest in exerting power and influence
Individualistic / Political - a keen interest in helping others
Traditional / Regulatory - a focused interest in following a specific system for living
